Giving Back

Metro East Pride Gives Back is the charitable and community outreach initiative of Metro East Pride of Southwestern Illinois. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we believe Pride is more than a celebration—it is a commitment to supporting, uplifting, and investing in the communities we serve throughout Southwestern Illinois.

Through Metro East Pride Gives Back, we provide financial support, volunteer service, educational opportunities, and direct assistance to individuals, families, and organizations across the Metro East region. Our efforts have included scholarship programs, food and holiday assistance, support for LGBTQIA+ youth, sponsorship of local community programs, school supply drives, and partnerships with organizations serving vulnerable populations.

Over the years, Metro East Pride has supported initiatives such as:

• LGBTQIA+ youth programs and foster care services
• College scholarships for LGBTQIA+ students
• Community food drives and holiday meal distributions
• Back-to-school backpack programs
• Support for local families facing hardship
• Holiday giving programs for seniors, youth, and individuals with disabilities
• Community service projects benefiting the broader Metro East region
